Welcome to the April Northern Cotton update.

I am pleased to announce new permanent appointments for Northern Cotton at the WANT Gin site, which demonstrates our commitment to the continued upscaling of the business to meet the needs of the Cotton Industry in Northern Australia.

Effective 23rd February 2026, Dwayne Martin has accepted the role of Gin Site Manager for Northern Cotton. Dwayne has been involved in the ginning industry for the last 30 years, the last 11 years as Manager of Rivcott Gin in the Murrumbidgee. Rivcott has had some very big production years recently, including a record for Australia of 420,000 bales in the 2024 season. Dwayne was also involved in the construction of Rivcott, which features high-capacity 12-foot Lummus Centurion Gin Stands. Prior to that, Dwayne worked at Carrington Gin (Goondiwindi) for 10 years; Koramba Gin (Boomi, MacIntyre Valley) for 7 years, and started his career at Moomin Gin in the Namoi Valley. We are pleased to welcome his depth of knowledge and experience to our team. Dwayne is joined in the region by his wife, Beulah, and we’re excited to have both of them as part of the Northern Cotton family.

I’m also very pleased to announce the appointments of Shuulikwa Muloongo (“Shuu”) and Ananias Chatabankana (“Ani”) as Ginners, effective 2nd March. Shuu and Ani have been working at the site for the last 9 months and completed the 2025 season. Prior to that, they worked in a ginning business in Zambia for 5-10 years. Both Shuu and Ani have shown a very strong commitment to the site and its development. Renee Green also joined the site prior to the end of 2025, working on a full-time basis. Renee has worked across agriculture, production management, and client relations for the past 18 years and brings a diverse range of skills to her role in Accounts at Northern Cotton. We are also pleased to announce that Marine Labdi has also joined the Team in a full-time cleaning role.

Please join me in welcoming Dwayne, Beulah, Shuu, Ani, Renee, and Marine to the Northern Cotton Team. As a postscript, we are delighted to advise and congratulate Kate & Angus Marshall on the safe arrival of a healthy baby girl (Amelia) on the 29th of December. We look forward to welcoming Kate back to work prior to the season starting.

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Easter break.

Best regards,

Tony Geitz

CEO, Northern Cotton
